We stopped in on a Saturday morning with a bit of a challenge. A rodent had chewed through one of our injector wires. Honda dealer does not sell a suitable replacement, she if a full engine harness. The guy at Parts Plug spent a generous amount of time trying to help us even though he did not have the specific part. Super friendly and knowledgeable.
Sky Gallagher
I had my Jettas engine replaced by these guys a few years ago. I always send anyone I know with big issues to them to fix it up for an affordable price. Figured I should write a review about my experience. Thank you's again 👏
Response from the owner:Thanks for your confidence Sky!
Andrew Trinh
Had a great experience at Parts Plug. I reached out via email to inquire about walnut blasting intake carbon cleaning, they were quick to respond to all my questions, and book me in for an appointment. After they completed my intake carbon cleaning, I no longer experience misfires during cold starts or rough idling. I also noticed that the car is running overall a lot smoother now, and quicker throttle response. Intake carbon cleaning is pricey but for the amount of time it takes to complete I think the price is fair and worth it, felt like the car got a second life and runs like new. Highly recommend Parts Plug to anyone thinking about intake carbon cleaning!

Russell Percival
Absolutely fantastic service. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns. These guys know there stuff. I got a PRL high volume air intake installed in my 2024 Honda Civic sport sedan. "Yeah yeah I know." Wasn't chasing gains or trying to make my car super fast because it's not. Although after the installation the car sounds fantastic. I'm extremely happy with the noise it makes now. Sounds sportier with a little angry growel. Like I said I'm not chasing gains or trying to race anybody. These guys did a fantastic job and it was a comfortable experience. There is a difference and it's noticeable no huge power gain but is a bit peppier sounds great. Thanks to the guys at parts plug
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Russel, thanks!
dante cuadrossegovia

My wife is a bit skittish when visiting mechanics in general, I advised her to take her car to Parts plugs due to engine light on, she did it today and loved the attention, she is changing mechanic moving forward!
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Dante!

Porsche Repair and Maintenance in Oshawa

Porsche vehicles combine performance, precise handling and sophisticated engineering. Maintaining those qualities requires proper diagnostics, application-specific parts and an understanding of how the vehicle’s mechanical and electronic systems work together.

Parts Plug provides professional Porsche repair and maintenance in Oshawa. From routine maintenance and warning-light diagnosis to brake, suspension, cooling-system and drivetrain repairs, our team takes a thorough approach to keeping your Porsche performing as intended.

Whether your Porsche is a daily driver, weekend vehicle or modified performance car, we can recommend service based on its model, mileage, condition and use.

Porsche Service

Our Oshawa repair shop provides maintenance and repair services for a range of Porsche models,Porsche models can differ considerably in their engine layout, drivetrain, suspension and installed equipment. Providing the year, model, trim and engine when booking helps us prepare for your vehicle’s specific requirements.

Contact Parts Plug to confirm the services available for your particular Porsche.

An Independent Porsche Service Option in Oshawa

Porsche owners should be able to receive informed maintenance and repair recommendations without relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Parts Plug combines experience with European and performance vehicles with access to advanced diagnostic equipment, genuine manufacturer components when requested, trusted OEM parts and quality aftermarket alternatives.

We take the time to inspect the vehicle, explain our findings and recommend work based on its actual condition.

Porsche Scheduled Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps protect your Porsche’s performance, reliability and long-term condition. The appropriate maintenance schedule depends on the model, mileage, age, service history and driving conditions.

Porsche maintenance services may include:

  • Engine oil and filter changes

  • Engine air-filter replacement

  • Cabin air-filter replacement

  • Spark-plug replacement

  • Ignition-system inspection

  • Brake-fluid service

  • Coolant inspection and service

  • Transmission and drivetrain-fluid service

  • Drive-belt inspection

  • Battery and charging-system testing

  • Brake inspection

  • Suspension inspection

  • Tire-condition inspection

  • Fluid and leak inspections

  • Manufacturer-scheduled maintenance

  • Digital vehicle inspections

Even a Porsche driven only occasionally still requires regular care. Fluids, batteries, rubber components and seals can deteriorate with time regardless of mileage.

Porsche Oil Changes in Oshawa

Engine oil plays an essential role in lubrication, cooling and protection, particularly in high-performance engines operating under demanding conditions.

Our Porsche oil service uses the correct oil specification and a suitable filter for the application. We can also inspect the vehicle for visible leaks, fluid concerns and maintenance items that may require attention.

Oil-service intervals should consider more than mileage alone. Frequent short trips, cold starts, performance driving, seasonal storage and extended periods between services can influence the most appropriate maintenance schedule.

Porsche Diagnostics and Warning-Light Testing

Modern Porsche vehicles use interconnected control modules to operate the engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, braking and comfort systems.

A warning light or fault message indicates that a system requires attention, but it does not always identify the component responsible. Accurate diagnosis often requires more than reading a trouble code.

Our diagnostic process may include:

  • Discussing the symptoms with the driver

  • Scanning applicable control modules

  • Reviewing stored fault codes

  • Examining live operating data

  • Performing electrical or mechanical testing

  • Inspecting related components

  • Confirming the fault before recommending repairs

We can investigate concerns such as:

  • Check-engine lights

  • Engine misfires

  • Reduced-power warnings

  • Drivetrain warnings

  • Electrical faults

  • Starting and charging problems

  • Cooling-system warnings

  • Unusual noises or vibrations

  • Rough running or hesitation

  • Intermittent performance concerns

This method helps us find the cause of the problem and reduce unnecessary parts replacement.

Porsche Brake Repair in Oshawa

A properly functioning braking system is especially important in a vehicle designed around responsive performance.

We provide Porsche brake inspection and repair services involving:

  • Brake pads

  • Brake rotors

  • Brake-fluid service

  • Brake hoses

  • Brake calipers

  • Wear sensors

  • Parking-brake components

  • Brake-noise diagnosis

  • Complete brake-system inspections

Signs your Porsche may require brake service include:

  • Squealing, grinding or scraping

  • Brake-warning messages

  • Increased stopping distance

  • Vibration while braking

  • A soft or unusual pedal feel

  • Visible rotor wear

  • Uneven brake-pad wear

Porsche models may use different braking systems depending on the trim, performance package and factory options. Replacement components should be confirmed using the vehicle’s specific equipment.

Porsche Suspension Repair in Oshawa

Porsche suspension systems are designed to provide steering precision, stability, comfort and controlled road feedback. Worn suspension components can gradually change the way the vehicle rides and responds.

We inspect and repair components such as:

  • Shocks and struts

  • Coil springs

  • Control arms

  • Control-arm bushings

  • Ball joints

  • Strut mounts

  • Sway-bar links and bushings

  • Wheel bearings and hubs

  • Related suspension hardware

Common symptoms of suspension wear include:

  • Clunking or knocking over bumps

  • Excessive bouncing

  • Loose or inconsistent handling

  • Increased body movement

  • Uneven ride height

  • Steering-wheel vibration

  • Unusual tire wear

  • Fluid leaking from a shock or strut

Some Porsche models use adaptive or electronically controlled suspension components. We identify the vehicle’s original configuration before recommending repairs or replacement parts.

Porsche Cooling-System Repair

The cooling system regulates engine temperature and helps protect the engine from overheating. Coolant leaks, temperature fluctuations and low-coolant warnings should be investigated promptly.

We can diagnose and repair cooling-system concerns involving:

  • Water pumps

  • Thermostats

  • Radiators

  • Coolant hoses

  • Expansion tanks

  • Cooling fans

  • Temperature sensors

  • Coolant leaks

  • Low-coolant warnings

  • Overheating concerns

Warning signs can include coolant beneath the vehicle, an unusual smell, fluctuating temperature readings, weak cabin heat or recurring coolant warnings.

If your Porsche is overheating, stop driving as soon as it is safe. Continuing to operate an overheating engine can cause serious damage.

Porsche Engine and Performance Diagnosis

Changes in engine performance can originate from the ignition, fuel, intake, exhaust, cooling, electrical or mechanical systems.

Parts Plug can investigate Porsche engine concerns such as:

  • Rough idle

  • Engine misfires

  • Hesitation

  • Reduced power

  • Poor throttle response

  • Hard starting

  • Stalling

  • Increased fuel consumption

  • Unusual engine noises

  • Exhaust smoke

  • Oil or fluid leaks

  • Turbocharger or boost concerns

Several different faults can create similar symptoms. We use the available diagnostic information and targeted testing to determine which system requires attention.

Porsche Transmission and Drivetrain Service

Depending on the year and model, Porsche vehicles may use manual, automatic, Tiptronic or PDK transmissions. These systems require appropriate fluids, procedures and diagnostic methods.

Transmission and drivetrain services may involve:

  • Transmission-fluid service

  • Transmission-filter service where applicable

  • Manual-transmission service

  • PDK-related diagnosis and maintenance

  • Differential-fluid service

  • Transfer-case service

  • Drivetrain-noise diagnosis

  • Fluid-leak inspection

  • Mount and related-component inspection

Symptoms requiring attention can include:

  • Harsh or delayed shifting

  • Slipping or hesitation

  • Unusual drivetrain noises

  • Transmission or drivetrain warnings

  • Visible fluid leaks

  • Changes in shift quality

Because requirements vary by transmission and drivetrain configuration, we confirm the vehicle’s specifications before recommending service or repairs.

Porsche Electrical Diagnosis

Electrical problems can cause intermittent warnings, starting difficulties, battery drain or symptoms affecting several systems at once.

We can diagnose concerns involving:

  • Battery condition

  • Charging-system operation

  • Alternator performance

  • Starter and starting circuits

  • Parasitic battery drains

  • Wiring and electrical connections

  • Exterior and interior lighting

  • Sensors and switches

  • Control-module communication

  • Intermittent electrical problems

Some Porsche vehicles use battery-monitoring and energy-management systems that may require application-specific procedures following battery replacement.

Oil and Fluid-Leak Diagnosis

A fluid leak should be identified before it develops into a larger mechanical problem. The location where fluid appears beneath the vehicle may not be where the leak originated.

We can inspect concerns involving:

  • Engine-oil leaks

  • Coolant leaks

  • Transmission-fluid leaks

  • Differential or transfer-case leaks

  • Brake-fluid leaks

  • Other mechanical-fluid concerns

Cleaning, inspection or additional testing may be required to locate the source accurately.

Porsche Pre-Purchase Inspections in Oshawa

A pre-purchase inspection can provide valuable information before buying a used Porsche. Maintenance and repair requirements can vary significantly between two vehicles of the same model and mileage.

The inspection may include:

  • Visual engine-compartment inspection

  • Fluid-condition and leak checks

  • Brake-condition inspection

  • Suspension inspection

  • Tire and wheel-condition inspection

  • Diagnostic scanning

  • Warning-light review

  • Road-test observations when appropriate

  • Review of visible modifications

  • General condition reporting

Although an inspection cannot predict every future repair, it can identify visible concerns, current maintenance needs and areas that may justify further investigation.

Service for Modified Porsche Vehicles

Parts Plug also has experience working with modified and performance-oriented vehicles.

Modifications can affect how a Porsche operates, how diagnostic information should be interpreted and which replacement components are appropriate.

Please let us know if your Porsche has:

  • Engine or transmission software

  • Intake or exhaust modifications

  • Turbocharger upgrades

  • Lowering springs or coilovers

  • Aftermarket wheels and tires

  • Brake upgrades

  • Other mechanical or electrical modifications

Understanding the complete vehicle setup helps us approach diagnosis and service accurately.
