They did a great on my VW. Came here initially for just for a Carbon build up removal (walnut blast), and ended having my car fully diagnosed and repaired beyond my initial thoughts. Fair pricing, they are good and prompt with communication as well details to what the actual issues are. So no feeling of being upsold on things you don't need.

first experience dealing with them.. helped me out with my warranty company , they found the issue and did what needed to get done, didn’t say I needed extra work and all that like other shops, took care of me car Great guys good prices.

We stopped in on a Saturday morning with a bit of a challenge. A rodent had chewed through one of our injector wires. Honda dealer does not sell a suitable replacement, shy of a full engine harness – which would have been ridiculously expensive. The guy at Parts Plug spent a generous amount of time trying to help us out gratis, even though he did not have the specific part. Super friendly and knowledgeable.
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Mark, glad we could get you back on the road! -J

Parts Plug has been my go to for the past 3 years (since i found out about them). Great prices and most importantly AMAZING, trustworthy staff. I know I can trust their advice, and that the work will be done RIGHT. + I dont know how… but they found the sweetspot for professional and chill, and it’s always a vibe. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Great service and very friendly team. They did an oil change on my Mini and checked the brake light issue. It turned out to be a small thing to fix, and they only charged me for the part with no labour charge. I was honestly surprised and really appreciated it. Thanks again for the great service!
Response from the owner:Always happy to help! -N

Quick turnaround and great service will be going back for all my needs

Absolutely fantastic service. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns. These guys know there stuff. I got a PRL high volume air intake installed in my 2024 Honda Civic sport sedan. "Yeah yeah I know." Wasn't chasing gains or trying to make my car super fast because it's not. Although after the installation the car sounds fantastic. I'm extremely happy with the noise it makes now. Sounds sportier with a little angry growel. Like I said I'm not chasing gains or trying to race anybody. These guys did a fantastic job and it was a comfortable experience. There is a difference and it's noticeable no huge power gain but is a bit peppier sounds great. Thanks to the guys at parts plug
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Russel, thanks!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The staff were friendly, professional, and honest, and the service was excellent. They took the time to explain everything clearly, completed the work efficiently, and made sure everything was done properly. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future work. Highly recommend!

My car started making weird noises. I called on a Friday night and they told me to come in tomorrow morning. They immediately started taking a look at my car and I was out of there in under a half hour! No more weird noises, they said it was an easy fix. Thank you so much!

Great experience at Parts Plug Scarborough! I’ve been to the Whitby location before, and the Scarborough shop provides the same friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable service you would expect. This location is more convenient for me, so it’s great knowing I can get the same level of service closer to home. Highly recommend!

I just called if it’s time to replace brake pads and rotor since I heard strange sound when I braked. They are so efficient to tell me to come right away to check and get quotation. They are very nice and helpful with my car issue.
Response from the owner:Always happy to help!

Honestly, one of the best shops I’ve dealt with. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the work they do. They explained everything clearly, were honest about what I actually needed, and never tried to upsell me on things I didn’t need. Josiah was a huge help and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs. Nick, the technician, was also very helpful, and both of them were super friendly and easy to deal with. After dealing with them myself, I can honestly see how the 1 star reviews about their customer service are fake. My experience was the complete opposite. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Pricing was also very fair, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy shop instead of going to the dealer.
Response from the owner:Appreciate the kind words Jason, thanks for your vote of confidence and i'm glad we were able to help you out! See you next time -A

Coilover Installation and Adjustment Services

Upgrade your vehicle’s handling, ride height and appearance with professional coilover installation and adjustment from Parts Plug. Whether you want a modest drop for a daily driver or a more aggressive suspension setup for a performance build, we can install and configure your coilovers according to your goals.

Correct coilover installation is essential for safe operation, predictable handling and even suspension performance. Our technicians carefully install the components, inspect related suspension parts and adjust the initial setup based on the vehicle, wheel fitment and intended use.

Professional Coilover Installation

Our coilover services may include:

  • Complete coilover installation
  • Front and rear ride-height adjustment
  • Coilover preload adjustment where applicable
  • Damping adjustment on supported coilovers
  • Inspection of mounts, bushings and suspension components
  • Sway-bar end-link installation and adjustment
  • Wheel-clearance and suspension-travel checks
  • Suspension noise and setup diagnosis
  • Adjustment of previously installed coilovers
  • Seasonal or fitment-related ride-height changes

After installing coilovers or changing the ride height, a wheel alignment is generally recommended to correct suspension geometry and help prevent uneven tire wear.

Coilover Height and Damping Adjustments

Already have coilovers installed? Parts Plug can help correct an uneven stance, change the ride height or refine the suspension setup.

Setting a vehicle too low can reduce suspension travel, create tire clearance problems and negatively affect ride quality. We consider wheel and tire fitment, ground clearance, suspension travel and how the vehicle is driven before making adjustments.

For adjustable coilovers, we can also help establish a practical damping setting for street driving or a firmer, performance-oriented setup where supported by the coilover system.

Why Choose Parts Plug?

Parts Plug combines automotive repair experience with a performance-focused approach. We work on stock and modified vehicles and understand that suspension upgrades must balance appearance, handling, comfort and reliability.

Whether you need new coilovers installed, existing coilovers adjusted or help diagnosing a suspension concern, our team can recommend a setup that fits your vehicle and goals.
