Helped with supercharger pulley install top shelf staff!

Had a great experience at Parts Plug. I reached out via email to inquire about walnut blasting intake carbon cleaning, they were quick to respond to all my questions, and book me in for an appointment. After they completed my intake carbon cleaning, I no longer experience misfires during cold starts or rough idling. I also noticed that the car is running overall a lot smoother now, and quicker throttle response. Intake carbon cleaning is pricey but for the amount of time it takes to complete I think the price is fair and worth it, felt like the car got a second life and runs like new. Highly recommend Parts Plug to anyone thinking about intake carbon cleaning!

Absolutely fantastic service. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns. These guys know there stuff. I got a PRL high volume air intake installed in my 2024 Honda Civic sport sedan. "Yeah yeah I know." Wasn't chasing gains or trying to make my car super fast because it's not. Although after the installation the car sounds fantastic. I'm extremely happy with the noise it makes now. Sounds sportier with a little angry growel. Like I said I'm not chasing gains or trying to race anybody. These guys did a fantastic job and it was a comfortable experience. There is a difference and it's noticeable no huge power gain but is a bit peppier sounds great. Thanks to the guys at parts plug
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Russel, thanks!

We stopped in on a Saturday morning with a bit of a challenge. A rodent had chewed through one of our injector wires. Honda dealer does not sell a suitable replacement, she if a full engine harness. The guy at Parts Plug spent a generous amount of time trying to help us even though he did not have the specific part. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

Service is excellent, inspection is thorough, service is delivered promptly and pricing is reasonable. Also, their staff is gentle, friendly and patient with customers with no technical knowledge. My wife is a bit skittish when visiting mechanics in general, I advised her to take her car to Parts plugs due to engine light on, she did it today and loved the attention, she is changing mechanic moving forward!
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Dante!

Porsche Repair and Maintenance for Scarborough Drivers

Finding an independent repair shop with experience servicing Porsche vehicles can be challenging. Porsche models combine sophisticated electronics, performance-oriented drivetrains and precisely engineered mechanical systems that require an informed approach.

Parts Plug welcomes Porsche owners from Scarborough to our automotive repair shop in Oshawa. We provide professional Porsche maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs using application-specific procedures and suitable replacement components.

Whether you drive your Porsche every day, enjoy it seasonally or have built a modified performance vehicle, our team can recommend service based on its model, mileage, condition and use.

Porsche Service

We provide repair and maintenance services for a range of Porsche models

Porsche models can differ considerably in engine layout, drivetrain, suspension and installed equipment. Providing the year, model, trim and engine when booking helps us prepare for your vehicle’s specific requirements.

Contact Parts Plug to confirm the services available for your particular Porsche.

An Independent Porsche Service Option for Scarborough Owners

Porsche owners should be able to receive clear repair recommendations based on the actual condition of their vehicle.

Parts Plug combines experience with European and performance vehicles with advanced diagnostic equipment and access to genuine, OEM and quality aftermarket replacement components.

Our process is straightforward:

  • Listen to the driver’s concerns

  • Inspect the affected systems

  • Perform appropriate diagnostic testing

  • Identify the source of the problem

  • Explain what we find

  • Recommend repairs based on the vehicle’s condition

Our goal is to help Scarborough Porsche owners make informed decisions about maintenance and repairs.

Porsche Scheduled Maintenance

Routine maintenance plays an important role in protecting your Porsche’s performance, reliability and long-term condition.

The appropriate schedule depends on the model, mileage, vehicle age, driving conditions and previous maintenance history.

Porsche maintenance services may include:

  • Engine oil and filter changes

  • Engine air-filter replacement

  • Cabin air-filter replacement

  • Spark-plug replacement

  • Ignition-system inspection

  • Brake-fluid service

  • Coolant inspection and service

  • Transmission and drivetrain-fluid service

  • Drive-belt inspection

  • Battery and charging-system testing

  • Brake inspection

  • Suspension inspection

  • Tire-condition inspection

  • Fluid and leak inspections

  • Manufacturer-scheduled maintenance

  • Digital vehicle inspections

Low mileage does not eliminate the need for maintenance. Fluids, batteries, rubber components and seals can deteriorate with time, even when the vehicle is driven infrequently.

Porsche Oil and Filter Service

Engine oil provides essential lubrication, cooling and protection—particularly in performance engines operating under demanding conditions.

Our Porsche oil service uses oil that meets the appropriate specification and a suitable filter for the application. We can also inspect the vehicle for visible fluid leaks and other maintenance concerns.

The most appropriate oil-service interval may be affected by:

  • Frequent short trips

  • Repeated cold starts

  • Performance driving

  • Seasonal vehicle use

  • Extended storage

  • Vehicle age and mileage

  • Previous maintenance history

We can recommend an interval suited to your particular Porsche and how you drive it.

Porsche Diagnostics and Warning Lights

Modern Porsche vehicles use interconnected electronic control modules to operate the engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, braking and comfort systems.

A warning light or fault code identifies a system requiring attention, but it does not always identify the failed component. Replacing a part based only on a trouble code can result in unnecessary expense without resolving the original problem.

Our diagnostic process may include:

  • Discussing the symptoms with the driver

  • Scanning applicable control modules

  • Reviewing stored and pending fault codes

  • Examining live operating data

  • Performing electrical or mechanical tests

  • Inspecting related components

  • Confirming the fault before recommending repairs

We can investigate concerns such as:

  • Check-engine lights

  • Engine misfires

  • Reduced-power warnings

  • Drivetrain warnings

  • Electrical faults

  • Starting and charging problems

  • Cooling-system warnings

  • Unusual noises or vibrations

  • Rough running or hesitation

  • Intermittent performance concerns

Accurate diagnosis helps identify the underlying cause and reduce unnecessary parts replacement.

Porsche Brake Repair

A Porsche braking system must provide consistent, predictable performance. Wear, overheating and damaged components can affect braking confidence and vehicle safety.

We provide Porsche brake services involving:

  • Brake pads

  • Brake rotors

  • Brake-fluid service

  • Brake hoses

  • Brake calipers

  • Wear sensors

  • Parking-brake components

  • Brake-noise diagnosis

  • Complete brake-system inspections

Signs that your Porsche may require brake service include:

  • Squealing, grinding or scraping

  • Brake-warning messages

  • Increased stopping distance

  • Vibration during braking

  • A soft or unusual pedal feel

  • Visible rotor wear

  • Uneven brake-pad wear

Brake specifications may differ between models, trims and performance packages. We confirm the vehicle’s installed equipment before recommending replacement parts.

Porsche Suspension Repair

Porsche suspension systems are designed to provide precise steering, stability, comfort and controlled road feedback.

As suspension components wear, the change can be gradual. Drivers may notice reduced handling confidence before realizing that a component requires attention.

We inspect and repair components such as:

  • Shocks and struts

  • Coil springs

  • Control arms

  • Control-arm bushings

  • Ball joints

  • Strut mounts

  • Sway-bar links and bushings

  • Wheel bearings and hubs

  • Related suspension hardware

Common signs of suspension wear include:

  • Clunking or knocking over bumps

  • Excessive bouncing

  • Loose or inconsistent handling

  • Increased body movement

  • Uneven ride height

  • Steering-wheel vibration

  • Irregular tire wear

  • Fluid leaking from a shock or strut

Some Porsche models use adaptive or electronically controlled suspension systems. We identify the vehicle’s original configuration before recommending repairs or replacement components.

Porsche Cooling-System Repair

The cooling system maintains the correct engine operating temperature and protects the engine from overheating.

We can diagnose and repair Porsche cooling-system concerns involving:

  • Water pumps

  • Thermostats

  • Radiators

  • Coolant hoses

  • Expansion tanks

  • Cooling fans

  • Temperature sensors

  • Coolant leaks

  • Low-coolant warnings

  • Overheating concerns

Warning signs may include:

  • Visible coolant beneath the vehicle

  • Recurring low-coolant warnings

  • An unusual sweet smell

  • Fluctuating temperature readings

  • Weak cabin heat

  • Cooling fans running excessively

  • Engine-temperature warnings

If your Porsche is overheating, stop driving as soon as it is safe. Continuing to operate an overheating engine can cause serious damage.

Porsche Engine and Performance Diagnosis

Reduced performance does not always originate from one obvious component. Ignition, fueling, intake, exhaust, cooling, electrical and mechanical problems can produce similar symptoms.

We can investigate concerns such as:

  • Rough idle

  • Engine misfires

  • Hesitation

  • Reduced power

  • Poor throttle response

  • Hard starting

  • Stalling

  • Increased fuel consumption

  • Unusual engine noises

  • Exhaust smoke

  • Oil or fluid leaks

  • Turbocharger or boost concerns

We evaluate the available fault information, operating data and physical symptoms before recommending repairs.

Porsche Transmission and Drivetrain Service

Depending on the year and model, Porsche vehicles may use manual, automatic, Tiptronic or PDK transmissions. Each system has its own fluid, maintenance and diagnostic requirements.

Transmission and drivetrain services may involve:

  • Transmission-fluid service

  • Transmission-filter service where applicable

  • Manual-transmission service

  • PDK-related diagnosis and maintenance

  • Differential-fluid service

  • Transfer-case service

  • Drivetrain-noise diagnosis

  • Fluid-leak inspection

  • Mount and related-component inspection

Symptoms that should be investigated include:

  • Harsh or delayed shifting

  • Slipping or hesitation

  • Unusual drivetrain noises

  • Transmission or drivetrain warnings

  • Visible fluid leaks

  • Changes in shift quality

We confirm the vehicle’s transmission and drivetrain configuration before recommending service.

Porsche Electrical Diagnosis

Electrical problems can cause intermittent warnings, starting difficulties, battery drain or symptoms affecting several vehicle systems.

We can diagnose electrical concerns involving:

  • Battery condition

  • Charging-system operation

  • Alternator performance

  • Starter and starting circuits

  • Parasitic battery drains

  • Wiring and electrical connections

  • Exterior and interior lighting

  • Sensors and switches

  • Control-module communication

  • Intermittent electrical faults

Some Porsche models use battery-monitoring and energy-management systems that may require application-specific procedures after battery replacement.

Oil and Fluid-Leak Diagnosis

Fluid leaks should be identified before they develop into larger mechanical problems. The area where fluid appears beneath a vehicle does not always reveal where the leak began.

We can inspect concerns involving:

  • Engine-oil leaks

  • Coolant leaks

  • Transmission-fluid leaks

  • Differential or transfer-case leaks

  • Brake-fluid leaks

  • Other mechanical-fluid concerns

Cleaning, inspection or additional testing may be required to locate the source accurately.

Porsche Pre-Purchase Inspections

A pre-purchase inspection can provide valuable information before buying a used Porsche.

Two vehicles of the same model and mileage can have very different maintenance histories and upcoming repair requirements.

Our inspection may include:

  • Visual engine-compartment inspection

  • Fluid-condition and leak checks

  • Brake-condition inspection

  • Suspension inspection

  • Tire and wheel-condition inspection

  • Diagnostic scanning

  • Warning-light review

  • Road-test observations when appropriate

  • Review of visible modifications

  • General condition reporting

An inspection cannot predict every future repair, but it can identify visible concerns, current maintenance needs and areas that may justify further investigation.

Service for Modified Porsche Vehicles

Parts Plug also has experience working with modified and performance-oriented vehicles.

Please let us know if your Porsche has:

  • Engine or transmission software

  • Intake or exhaust modifications

  • Turbocharger upgrades

  • Lowering springs or coilovers

  • Aftermarket wheels and tires

  • Brake upgrades

  • Other mechanical or electrical modifications

Modifications can affect how the vehicle operates, how diagnostic information should be interpreted and which replacement components are appropriate.

Genuine, OEM and Quality Replacement Parts

Parts quality and correct application can directly affect performance, reliability and fitment.

Parts Plug can source genuine Porsche components when requested, along with trusted OEM and quality aftermarket alternatives where appropriate.

The recommended option depends on:

  • The repair being performed

  • Vehicle configuration

  • Parts availability

  • Intended vehicle use

  • Performance requirements

  • Preferred budget

We explain the available options so you can make an informed decision about your Porsche.
