Nick and his team were amazing. You can tell they really enjoy what they’re doing. They changed my brake pads and rotors quickly and on the day of for a very affordable price. There were some really nice cars that they were working on yet they still treated my old civic the same. If you also need passionate honest people to mod your car, this is the place to go to! Brought my truck in to change the exhaust so i could get a deeper sound and a little louder . Amar listened to what i wanted and ordered what was needed . Part took a little longer but no worries they were prompt in keeping me informed . Sounds amazing and the decimal level comes in a little louder . I could not be happier . Amazing service very polite from all employees that i interacted with , i actually felt like they cared about what i wanted. Also as i was leaving i was told to see if its the sound im looking for as they could make it louder . These guys a great. Highly recommend. Been back for headlight and taillight install . In January 2023 I was looking around for a shop to get some work done on my Mazda 3 GT, I was looking at lowering springs with install and possibly a new muffler or cat-back system and new wheels with tires. I messaged/emailed a few shops around the GTA including AutoFX in Hamilton and NoyzBoyz in Toronto/Scarborough, and also Parts Plug. I got a reply pretty much right away from Parts Plug, they were professional, courteous, and got me pricing and options for what I was looking for, and we were back and forth via email dozens of times discussing many different options for suspension (lowering) and intakes, exhaust systems, wheels, tires, and financing etc. within a few weeks I had everything worked out based on my budget and their help, and now have everything installed and exactly how I wanted my car to be. Their labor prices are good and they did good work, very happy with them. Oh yeah, by the way, I STILL to this day (2 months later) have not received a reply, email or phone call from AutoFX OR NoyzBoyz at all, I guess they’re either too old to figure out the internet Facebook/Instagram messaging or email, or they just don’t want peoples business, I can just imagine how they are when you get work done that isn’t right and you need to get something looked at again or fixed if they won’t even answer your initial inquiries lol. I’ll never have to go through that through, they snooze they lose. Parts Plug was fantastic, and ended up being worth the drive to Oshawa vs closer to home options for me. Give them a try, call or email for anything from basic repairs and maintenance to upgrades and customization. Thanks again guys!

Signs Your Clutch May Need Replacement

Common symptoms of a worn or damaged clutch include:

  • Clutch slipping under acceleration

Modified or higher-powered vehicles may require a clutch with greater holding capacity than the original equipment.

The flywheel should be inspected whenever the clutch is replaced. Excessive heat damage, cracking, wear or movement in a dual-mass flywheel can cause vibration and poor engagement.
