If you’ve been to their Oshawa location then tou already know, Parts Plug is one of the most reputable shops around and treat every car with care and respect. From brake jobs to performance parts they do it all and then some! Great staff, great owner, I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!
Jescey
first experience dealing with them.. helped me out with my warranty company , they found the issue and did what needed to get done, didn’t say I needed extra work and all that like other shops, took care of me car Great guys good prices.
Josiah
Great shop with honest, knowledgeable staff. Very trustworthy and always willing to help. Highly recommend

Great experience at Parts Plug Scarborough! I’ve been to the Whitby location before, and the Scarborough shop provides the same friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable service you would expect. This location is more convenient for me, so it’s great knowing I can get the same level of service closer to home. Highly recommend!
Vishnu Thillainathan
Amazing experience from start to finish! The staff were friendly, professional, and honest, and the service was excellent. They took the time to explain everything clearly, completed the work efficiently, and made sure everything was done properly. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future work. Highly recommend!

Honestly, one of the best shops I’ve dealt with. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the work they do. They explained everything clearly, were honest about what I actually needed, and never tried to upsell me on things I didn’t need. Josiah was a huge help and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs. Nick, the technician, was also very helpful, and both of them were super friendly and easy to deal with. After dealing with them myself, I can honestly see how the 1 star reviews about their customer service are fake. My experience was the complete opposite. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Pricing was also very fair, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy shop instead of going to the dealer.
Response from the owner:Appreciate the kind words Jason, thanks for your vote of confidence and i'm glad we were able to help you out! See you next time -A

Best experience for a car repair ever. Was grateful for their advice prior to the alternator replacement. I was going to try to make it back home….. anyway, car was fixed quickly and is ready to go. Will definitely make this my garage moving forward. It's worth the drive to Oshawa, to have Parts Plug work on your car.
William Kot
My go-to place for all my maintenance and repairs. Super honest guys, work is done in a very timely manner and prices are more than fair! I recommend this place!!
Mark Chuchra
We stopped in on a Saturday morning with a bit of a challenge. A rodent had chewed through one of our injector wires. Honda dealer does not sell a suitable replacement, shy of a full engine harness – which would have been ridiculously expensive. The guy at Parts Plug spent a generous amount of time trying to help us out gratis, even though he did not have the specific part. Super friendly and knowledgeable.
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Mark, glad we could get you back on the road! -J

I took my Mercedes C300 for a noise coming from front axle. They inspected the car within 20 minutes and gave me a quote. Did the job the next day quickly and the car was running smooth as new. Got the best price for the repairs. Customer service, speed, efficiency everything was amazing!
Russell Percival
Absolutely fantastic service. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns. These guys know there stuff. I got a PRL high volume air intake installed in my 2024 Honda Civic sport sedan. "Yeah yeah I know." Wasn't chasing gains or trying to make my car super fast because it's not. Although after the installation the car sounds fantastic. I'm extremely happy with the noise it makes now. Sounds sportier with a little angry growel. Like I said I'm not chasing gains or trying to race anybody. These guys did a fantastic job and it was a comfortable experience. There is a difference and it's noticeable no huge power gain but is a bit peppier sounds great. Thanks to the guys at parts plug
Response from the owner:Always happy to help Russel, thanks!
Kervna Armoogum

Absolutely phenomenal service from Amar and the team. They took their time out to tell me exactly what the issue was on my BMW and pointed out a few preventative items as well. Would always recommend them for their honest approach and prompt delivery of service!
Response from the owner:Always happy to help, look forward to seeing you in the future! – A

They removed the stock exhaust on my 2024 Z Performance and replaced it with an AWE Track exhaust. The price was fair for the work. I was consulted about the placement of the exhaust tips while I waited. I was consulted again about how I wanted the old exhaust placed in the hatch of the Z, and to ensure it didn’t scrape the interior. All in all, very efficient and courteous service. I highly recommend this shop!
Christina Bergen

Johnny Arghirescu
Thank you for taking really good care of my car and getting my suspension fixed! No more noises!

Lowering Spring Installation Services

Improve your vehicle’s stance, handling and appearance with professional lowering spring installation from Parts Plug. Lowering springs provide a practical way to reduce ride height while retaining compatible factory-style or upgraded shocks and struts.

Whether you want a subtle drop for a daily driver or a more aggressive look for a performance build, our technicians can install your lowering springs and inspect the surrounding suspension components.

Professional Lowering Spring Installation

Our lowering spring services may include:

  • Front and rear lowering spring installation
  • Shock and strut inspection
  • Strut-mount and bearing inspection
  • Bump-stop and dust-boot inspection
  • Control-arm and suspension-bushing inspection
  • Sway-bar end-link inspection
  • Wheel and tire clearance checks
  • Ride-height and fitment assessment
  • Suspension noise diagnosis
  • Installation of compatible upgraded shocks and struts

Worn shocks, struts, mounts or bushings may affect ride quality and suspension performance. We inspect the relevant components and let you know if anything should be addressed during installation.

Benefits of Lowering Springs

A properly selected lowering spring kit may provide:

  • A lower, more aggressive stance
  • Reduced wheel gap
  • Improved cornering response
  • Less body roll
  • A lower centre of gravity
  • Improved wheel and tire fitment
  • More controlled handling

The final ride height and ride quality depend on the vehicle, spring design, drop amount and condition of the existing suspension.

Lowering Springs vs. Coilovers

Lowering springs are often suitable for drivers who want a fixed ride-height reduction without the adjustability of coilovers. Coilovers may be better for vehicles requiring adjustable height, damping or a more customized suspension setup.

Parts Plug can help you choose the appropriate option based on your vehicle, budget and intended use.

Alignment After Lowering Springs

Changing a vehicle’s ride height can affect wheel alignment and suspension geometry. A wheel alignment is generally recommended after lowering spring installation to help improve handling and reduce uneven tire wear.
